GA-K8NXP-SLI and bios flashing and DMIView report

    I have had my GA-K8NXP-SLI mobo for about 8 months now and I recently tried to flash my bios from F6 to F9 using the @BIOS utility. It reported that it had sucessfully flashed my bios but on reboot I found that this was not the case and the bios was still reporting F6.
    My other problem (discovered yesterday) is that DMIView is reporting that my CPU is a socket 754 when in fact it is a socket 939. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in anticipation. :)

    Crangill-
    Why don't you try resetting the CMOS/BIOS. Then see if it will boot up and read the new BIOS correctly.
