Game going back to Desktop

Hello! I recently got a new game (GTA:SA) I installed the game when I start it up it shows me the movie(like with credits and all).Then it shows gtasa logo screen then it jumps back to desktop. I think is my computer it's A peice a crap and this isn't the first time I've experienced this, CAn anyone tell me the solution to the prob do I need new hardware?Or what?thanks

It's kinda hard to tell you if you need an upgrade if we don't know what you are running.
There is an area in your profile where you can fill in particulars on your machine.
As for the Game, read the manual , and look for 'Minimum hardware requirements for your game.

It looks like your video card is the culprit. The minimum specs says Dx9 with 64mb ram...

Your best bet would be to buy a new video card, and an old PCI card at that, since your motherboard doesn't support AGP. The best card would probably be the FX5700, or you could get a cheap GF 4 (not mx) or Radeon 8500 PCI...
(And not PCI-Express)
