GameCube Power flashes / wont turn on

  1. Killswitch Newcomer, in training

    When i try to turn on the cube, the power will flash and sometimes flash jsut once and stop. I dont want to send in for repairs for financial issues. Any advice or solutions? If it helps, I had been playing Metroid Prime 2 for a few hours and it shut off on its own. I never tried to restart until now. :confused:

    maybe its over heating.. Check the airflow from both sides and see if its not blocked

    See if you can borrow the power cable which includes the power supply from someone else's gamecube. I had a power supply on mine go bad once. I forget how much they cost but I don't think its too expensive.
