Games keep crashing in Windows on Macbook Pro

  1. I have a new C2D Santa Rosa Macbook pro 2.2Ghz. I have installed Windows Vista Business on it and installed CS:Source, DoD:Source, STALKER & NFS: Carbon. My problem is that all the games keep crashing randomly. Most of the times i get the message that either HL2 has stopped working, or nVidia graphics driver has crashed. I have got a couple of blue screens as well with either MEMORY_MANAGEMENT or IRQL_NOT equal to thing msg.

    Can anyone help me ?

    Welcome to Techspot! :)

To play games, you need to turn off

firewall - only if the game doesn't need firewall or internet access
anything that runs in the background to protect the system can cause the system with a game on to crash.

Is the game ready for ViSTA?

Yep, those things are fine. I dloaded and ran Memtest86. It showed errors with my RAM. I guess i will have to get it changed.
