Games minimising problem

I have run many games on my Nvidia GeForce 3 ti-200 128mb graphics card successfully including Rome Total war and Age of Empires. Then one day I started a game and then it minimised. I clicked again it continued starting and then it minimised again. The problem continued and the game time got shorter and shorter. I can by reclicking it actually get the games running and can run videos etc so it is just the minimising problem. This happens all the time on all exe games. Is this a settings problem or a card problem?

What version of video drivers do you have installed?

I am using the latest Forceware drivers for Windows 200/XP. I am using xp. It says on the download page that they are compatible with my card and they worked before.

sweep your computer for spyware/virus, they could be causing certian programs to run causing minimization

Are you having any other symptoms, lockups, artifacts etc.?
What do you have for heat management, fan wise?
Was this a recent upgrade in drivers? Did yo uninstall old drivers first, reboot
then install new?
