Hello!

I'm not familiar with RAIDing HDs... My set up right now is:

Maxtor 7200RPM 80GB HD - Contains - OS, APPs, DLs, Page file
WD RAPTOR 10,000RPM 74GB HD - Contains - Games

I keep my OS separate from my Gaming software... I understand with RAIDing you have two identical HDs that mirror each other, is this faster than my setup, and why??

It is faster because data is read from both hard drives simultaneously.

Mind you, two normal hard drives in RAID vs a single Raptor gives you very mixed results with RAID winning some and Raptor winning others. You could mirror or stripe two Raptors of course :)
