Gateway FX6800-01E Upgrade

I'm looking at a HIS Radeon HD 7950 for my computer and I'm curious if it would be the right choice to play new games at high to ultra settings? Suggestions?

The power supply you have is the bare minimum a 7950 requires. Make sure your case has enough airflow for the GPU and make sure you have 2 six pin PCIe power connectors free on your PSU. I would also recommend upgrading your RAM. A 7950 + i7 920 probably wont be able to play games at MAX, but very close to it (if you have 8GB of DDR3).
