Geforce 2 MX200 driver problem, no T&L?

driver problem,help me~

bought a 3D card, the brand is MilkyStar,
it's a GeForce 2 MX 200 32MB,
can't install the .exe driver,
only can install the driver with the .exe extracted files.....

is the chip support Hardware T&L ?
how come i can't select the "Hardware T&L" option while i play MAX PAYNE?

Did you use that new folder to install your drivers?

T&L should be hardware and should be available. I suggest getting the newest drivers from www.nVidia.com if you aren't already.

I agree with Rick. Get the latest Nvidia Detonator drivers for your operating system...

• Nvidia Win98/ME
• Nvidia XP/2000
• Nvidia WinNT
• Nvidia Linux

how i install...

how i install my driver?
i open the .exe driver file,
and the file proceed install de driver....
but at the end,
a messege pop up,
say can't find a regconiz nvidia chip.
then a windows pop up,
said the driver installation is not succesful,
and click ok to restart, or cancel......

from here i didn't click on the window,
then open a window explorer,
go to "temp" folder.....
and there is a folder stored the driver files,
i copied it 2 another folder....

and then go back to the driver installation pop up window,
and click cancel......

then update the display card driver with the files inside the folder i copied just now....

i've try Detonator 23.11..... but still.....
have anyone heard of the brand?-"Milkky Star"?

What card were you using before the mx200?

Was it an .inf file windows was looking for?

Geforce 2 MX does not have full Hardware T&L AFAIK, at least in 3dMark it uses Direct3D Software T&L.

1) GeForce2 MX200 does support hardware T&L. However, its implementation isn't as complete as in GF3/4.

2) If you're trying old drivers that were created before GF2MX200 series appeared, the installer won't recognize the card. You can, however, install the driver manually. Just go to Control Panel - System - Device Manager - Display adapters - your existing card - update driver. Select "I want to search the driver manually" or whatwasthesentence, when selecting the card, plain GeForce2MX should do.
Another option is, of course, update the driver so that it'll recognize the card properly.

Updating drivers might also solve your T&L problem.
