Geforce 5200 help

i have a Geforce 5200 PCI and i followed step by step instructions but when ever i trun the computer on then screen does not shows nothing i had the card on a prev computer and worked fine with the same moniter the other comp never had this problem im useing a HP with an AMD Athlon XP 3000+
2.16ghz/960mb ram im useing up to date driver and all

I think we need a bit more info from you first.

What is your motherboard? Does it have integrated graphics? If so, did you wipe out the drivers before installing the new card?
