The 5600 seems to beats the 5500 and the 5200. I have the 5500 and the 5200, between the 2, i dont see any difference, the 5500 is faster, and has more ram, but again i dont see any difference in gameplay.

The 5600 card is hard to find, but if happen to see it, i might go ahead and pick up. But if never find it, i am happy with the 5500 card.

If you find it I think the one I remember reading about was an ultra or xt.
I have the 5500 in my old P4 1.7
If your brave you can mess with the video apature setting in your bios. 128 or 256mb. I set mine at 256 and it helped somewhat but results will vary depending on your os and ram amount.

Video apature? Are you talking about VRAM on the video card?
If so, i am already using a 3dfuzion/bfg Geforce FX 5500 256MB PCI card. It already has 256MB, even tho in dxdiag it says 255MB. Shared ram i guess.

I have 512megs of ram, and i am using windows98se. This video card does the job just fine and with the 512megs of ram in my computer, it helps greatly on games. Now if i happen to see this PCI 5600 card, i will grab it. But i will read about it first.

Video aperture settings are usually for AGP cards, so there's not going to be any such option in the BIOS for you.
