geforce 7600gs agp problem

I am having problems installing this asus nvidia geforce 7600gs agp card onto my asus p4s800-mx motherboard. When installing, on bootup the card emits a loud, continuous screech or whine, and the monitor remains blank. The card replaces an asus nvidia 5200fx card which works perfectly, but won't handle games like Bioshock. Any clues, anyone?

I have also noticed the the card is keyed for 1.5v, but not for 3.3v. The 5200fx card is keyed for both. Does this matter? Am also wondering if the card needs more power?

Do you have the required connection hooked-up from the psu to the card?

Should be a 4pin molex

Does your motherboard support AGP 4x\8x or only AGP 4x?

Thanks Rage and kpo6969. Motherboard does support both AGP 4x/8x, but i haven't hooked up the psu to the 4 pin molex. Guess you are saying, kpo6969, that this card needs more power than the old one.Will try that. Thanks heaps.
