  1. I have just recently bought a Leadtek GeForce FX 5600 256meg - installed it - fine no probs - put the leadtek drivers on (not sure what detonator version - cant find it anywhere) worked fine - put the latest Det's on (44.03) and BIG performance hit - when checking thought config options i notice only 128megs VRAM is noted - reinstall leadtek drives - bingo 256megs VRAM...odd! can anyone shed any light on this? i really dont want to b stuck with these leadtek drives for eternity.....
thank you for any information you might have.

You'll have to wait for Leadtek to keep up with nVidia. Some cards only work properly with their manufacturer-proprietary drivers, most likely because the manufacturer in question made changes to the core chipset of the GFX card.
