To say designing or building web pages can be incredibly monotonous will spark enthusiastic head nodding among anyone who’s done it for a living. However the sharpest developers always find ways to shave time off their builds - and today, the Macaw image editor and code generator is one of the coolest new tools in a programmer’s arsenal. You can get Macaw for just $49 - 72% off.

If you’re not up on Macaw, it’s a huge time-saver. Rather than spending hours styling your page by manipulating code line by line, Macaw works a lot like Photoshop, allowing you to draw, paint and contour a web page image to your exact specifications. Macaw picks it up from there, automatically translating your element into clean HTML and CSS you can immediately insert into your page, easily viewable on any computer, device or platform.

Macaw adjusts fonts, spacing and kerning, shifts your borders and padding, even creates effects like drop shadows and texturing - and none of it messes with your code or how it appears on your site. Macaw helps you avoid getting bogged down with code bugs so you can focus on what’s important - making your site look its very best.

You'll make your $49 back pretty easily in time saved - pick it up at the TechSpot Store.

Anybody have experience with this? Considering a purchase if it's worth using vs traditional methods.

Macaw is very promising. Looking at the Scarlet feature set, I think you might find a product that more completely suits the needs of modern prototyping. I'm assure hoping so.
