Getting STarted on Bit Torrent?

Can any one help me out iwth Bit Torrent and how to get started or direct me to athread or site that does?

I read a lot of good things about Bit Torrent.

What are the programs & decoders (if any) that i'd need and such?

Try to use BitSpirit or Azureus as clients for torrent downloads.

Also, try and visit this page before starting...

In response to the last post, I'd also recommend BitComet. It seems that when I use other clients, a LOT of people upload using Bitcomet. It seems to me that People that download using BitComet get better download speeds...here's a tip: CLOSE OUT PEOPLE USING BITCOMET 1.01! They are nothing but BitLord users. Bitlord is a spyware infested version of Bitcomet. It can take away all of your bandwidth...DON'T USE IT!
