GFX emulation

Hello

I have the following laptop:
AMD sempron 2800+
80 giga hard disk
512 ram
dvd rw
wireless

and a stupid built in SIS m760 gx vga card with shared memory from 32-128 mbyte

Unfortunately i just cant have a decent fps in ut2004.It varies from 14-20 fps
with 1024x768 16 bit and the other settings at normal mode

i was wondering if there are any programs that use cpu resources to emulate functions that should be done from the vga card and thus improve the overall fps(since my cpu above the recommended cpu for ut2004)

any help will be really appreciate

You can always try to play in software mode but that would probably result in even lower performance. Unless you have a very high-end laptop, they're simply not good gaming machines & the upgrade options are close to zero.

yeah i tried software and it was even slower(and the grafix even worse....)
well it seems that i have to do just with quake 3 for wifi parties :)
