Gigbyte MB Boots, runs, then dies for good

I've had an odd problem with 2 different Gigabyte boards now. I built the system with new MB, CPU, RAM, PS. Booted up and it ran for a day. Installed the chipset drivers and the machine bluscreened and shut down. At that point the MB was dead and would not powerup again. Tried replacing the CPU and still no-go.

I got a new motherboard (GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-S2H) and tried again.... same thing, Windows loaded and ran for a short time and then the system shut down and never came back. I checked the temps right before it died and everything was cool. The CPU is still fine.

Is it possible that there's a bad driver that's actually destroying something on the motherboard? I've ordered a replacement, but don't want to have this just happen a 3rd time.

Yep. The cheaper Gigabyte boards are even worse. We had seven out of seven fail, and it takes a long time to get a replacement that also may not work.
