Good Spec For a Gaming Desktop

Im thinking about building my own gaming computer. For games like Minecraft, WarZ(Infestation), Arma 2, and other Steam Games. I want to know what would be some good specs for a gaming computer?

What is your budget? Will you need to buy a monitor and peripherals (Mouse/Keyboard/Speakers) or do you have those already? What is your preference for CPU (Intel or AMD)?

I Live in USA. Around $750-900. I have a mouse keyboard, and speakers. Any CPU is fine.

Just replace the:
1) CPU with a 3570K
2) Motherboard with a Z77
3) PSU with a Corsair CX650.
