  1. Hi, I recently began having problems with google search sending me to random sites. For example searching "keller williams" and clicking on the "keller williams realty" link from google sends me to "shoppingstep.com". I have done all the 8 steps, log files attached. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

does having a rootkit mean i need to reformat my pc or did combofix do the job? Also, how do I retrieve the combofix log and find out if the rootkit may have stolen personal data such as saved passwords, etc...

You should be ok. Delete those temp files using this:
    Temp File Cleaner

...and keep the cookies under control
