Google is now rolling out its Google Play All Access service in Europe. Initially launched in the US back in May and later in Australia and New Zealand, the service is now available in 9 different European countries according to Google's international availability support page. Newly added countries include: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and the UK.
Google Play Music All Access allows users to stream music to their Android tablets and phones as well as through their computer's browser for a monthly fee. Along with the millions of songs in Google's catalogue, users get an ad-free experience as well as music recommendations and curated playlists, much like Spotify. There is also the ability to create customizable radio stations similar to Apple's iTunes Radio.
Google is extending its early adopter discount to the newly added countries as well. Along with a free 30-day trial offer, those who sign up before September 15 will only need to pay £7.99 per month in the UK or €7.99 in all the other European countries. Otherwise, prices should increase after that date to £9.99 or €9.99 per month.
With Google reported to have already locked in deals with Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group, the company is certainly primed to offer its users some of the most popular names in music. At this point, there is no official word as to when the service might be rolling out worldwide.
