Got a orpblem with my card

  1. i got a radeon 9000 pro. when i run the video test for diablo 2 , it says the only available modes are direct3d and direct2d. i cant use openGL. i know for a fact that opengl is better and i would like to run diablo 2 in that instead of direct3d. can i get some help here please?

    you should be able to play games in OpenGL no problem! Have you got the latest version of Catalyst drivers??

    Is your card a RADEON 9000 AIW by any chance?

    Diablo 2 has OpenGL only for Mac as far as I know.

    I have Diablo II installed on both PC and Mac and Mict is correct - OpenGL is not an option for Windows, only Mac. On the Mac side you can choose OpenGL or RAVE - and I guarantee you that D2 runs better on my PCs than my Macs.
