got a problem, bluescreen.

    when i got a bluescreen a while back i started to have problems with windows explorer. it would tale up a LOT of memory sometimes a whole gig of it, and now whenever i got to one of my file thats in a folder it goes reeeeealy slow and then shuts down and restarts explorer. this is annoying and i hope the info below will help you with my prob. thanks for helping.

    i'm not sure if the blue screen is connected to the problems i've been having with windows explorer and the the ram so any thoughts? i got realy confused by that other page is there anything simpler or could somone just tellme how to do it step by step? thanks!

    nevermind guys i decided i didn't want to wait to fix it so i said f it and did a system restore, the prob seems to be fixed now.

    It may have been spyware. I advise my customers to use 3 anti-spyware utils. Here are the ones I recommend:

    • Ad-Aware 2007
    • Spybot Search & Destroy
    • AVG Anti-Spyware

    All are free and can be downloaded via the Internet.

    thats what i figured and i used spybot and webroot, but the prob still didn't go away.
