GPU Question..

Which GPU is better Apollo GeForce FX 5500 256M or a ATI Radeon 9600XT 128M? They are both AGP 4X/8X.

yeah .. i had a bad experience with the BFG FX 5500...i don't recommend any of the FX 5 series...they're a complete failure i'd say...i'd go with the 9600xt..are you on a budget? i'm assuming this card ain't for you...but yeah i'm all in with the 9600xt IMO
what are you benching with the 76oogs on sli?

the FX is a really old and slow card.. 9600XT ...

The 9600XT hands down. The FX5500 is seriously weak and NVIDIA even has PCI versions of it out, which shows you how slow and outdated it is.

Check this out. The comparison is between an FX5600 Ultra and a 9600XT and the latter aces the NVIDIA card at everything. So it's a no-brainer that the 9600XT would destroy an FX5500.
