    Which GPU is better Apollo GeForce FX 5500 256M or a ATI Radeon 9600XT 128M? They are both AGP 4X/8X.

    The 9600XT hands down. The FX5500 is seriously weak and NVIDIA even has PCI versions of it out, which shows you how slow and outdated it is.

    link for benchmark? hmm google it..don't have any :p or are you looking for a benchmark program like 3dmark or futuremark?

    Check this out. The comparison is between an FX5600 Ultra and a 9600XT and the latter aces the NVIDIA card at everything. So it's a no-brainer that the 9600XT would destroy an FX5500.
