Hi. First of all i have to admit i don't know a hell of a lot about computers. Basically what it is is that my current computer is from dell so has intel integrated extreme graphics and no agp slot. What reasonably cheap but ok quality graphics cards could i but to fit into a PCI slot

Well, the 5700le is about as good as pci can get(still not as good as agp).

I think I'd get the first one. What model dell do you have? Some dells can't have their integrated graphics disabled in the bios(dell was too lazy to put the option on the bios), check in your bios(press del or f2 when you boot a few times and it should get to the bios) if there is a video setting(like integrated or pci).

If $90 is too much, then consider this for $70

Geforce 5600 256mb is probably the best pci video card, but i can only find it in one place, www.amamax.com , few monthsss ago i ordered this card but they didnt send it for more than 2 months so i asked my money back. I suggest to be careful with this store, bad service, call them instead of email.

Geforce 5500 256mb maybe the second best.. what do u think guys?.. is this card works well with Dell Dimension 2400?

any x series radeon is going to be better than any geforce card hands down because they are faster altogether. but they are also going to cost more. any agp card you can find you can at the very least either find it in pci bus or find somthing better in pci express bus because the best card out there right now for gaming is pci express. which is just pci with an extension that they give to you
