Hacktool.rootkit problems

Hi, this is really my first post here and I'm having a bit of an issue with a virus I picked up after browsing the web. IE went nuts after I went to a site and symantec popped up telling me I got a virus. four executables popped up on my desktop d1 d2 d3 d4.exe ect ect and started running. I stopped them all and did what symantec told me to do, delete the files =\

So, the next day I come back and ndis.sys is infected with hacktool.rootkit and the internet stops working after a few minutes. I tried to delete the file as was suggested but then the internet would stop working all together and I could not fix it through any means I know of. So, to atleast be able to try and get help, I've restored it and trying to work on posts every couple of minutes between hard reboots.

Currently I am following the instructions as per this link:
https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic34006.html

The system cleaner has been run, as well as the safe mode apropsfix. Here are the logs as requested

Hello and welcome to TechSpot.

Very important: Before deciding whether to clean or reformat your system, read this thread and decide what you want to do.

If you decide to clean your system after reading the above thread, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/spyware/malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly, then post fresh HJT, ComboFix, and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread. Also post here the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

Regards :)

This thread is for the use of blckdrgn only. Please don`t post your own virus/spyware problems in this thread. Instead, open a new thread in our Security and the Web forum.

Hello! A few minutes ago a friend suggested the repair fuction while booting from the XP CD. If that doesnt solve the problem, I'll pick up on the instructions you gave me. =)
