OS: Vista Home Premium I've just got done cleaning out a ton of viruses in safemode. Ran combofix, spybot, super antispyware, malwarebytes. The usual. It boots up in normal mode now. Most exe files freeze up after 5 seconds of running. Thus, I can't run a Vista repair, because apparently Vista needs to use normal mode for a repair.... retarded. And thus setup.exe freezes. I was getting the KSOD (explorer wouldn't load unless you end it then restart it) before, sfc /scannow fixed that. I've reenabled the built-in Administrator profile, but it hangs at the loading screen on a normal startup. I've tried making a new user(named Temp) and that also hangs on normal start. Both start safemode fine. Can anyone shed some light?
