hard disk partition

    i have two hard disks in my computer and when i try to open the secondary hard disk a message will come up saying i have to format it but i dont want to cause i have heaps of stuff on there.

    Is this something that just happened? Can you give a little more background? Which OS are you running? How are the drives connected?
    Have you looked at the drive in Disk Management?

    well what i did is i deleted that partition and i created a new one.
    i am using winXP, i've been in the disk drive management.
