Hard Drive help

i got a 80 gig hard drive that im slaving. its a Maxtor 80 gig but its only picking up 1.3 gigs of space? can anyone help me out?

What is "picking up 1.3 gigs of space"? The system BIOS, Windows disk management or the My Computer screen?

na im ok now i used partion magic and found out that it was formated for linux
