  1. Im trying to install windows xp on a hard drive. now the computer im trying to install it on lets me format it, then when it goes to install the windows files a screen comes on saying that there was an error, this happens every time i try this on the PC. Now to make sure the hard drive was not damaged , i installed windows on it on a different PC, that worked fine. so i went back to the other computer and tried it again and it keeps saying error, What am i doing wrong, maybe i dont have the hard drive connected the right way, i dunno, but one of the errors said something like the "RCQL was not less or equal" or something like that.....Im not sure if those are the correct letters

if you post the whole exact error. you will probably have a better chance of solving the problem. next time it happens just write it down on a piece of paper or something. then come post it here.
