Alrite the specs of my pc are
Pentium 4 3.0GHz wit HT 800MHZ FSB
1 gig dual channel ddr 400
PNY 6800 GT Overclocked 420 Mhz / 1130 Mhz
Audigy 2 ZS
Ultra 500W modular power supply
My power supply is a 500 W ultra x connect power supply. I have two hard drives already one is a sea gate 120 gig and the other a western digital 200 GIG which are working fine both on IDE primary and secondary. I just added a third 300 GIG hard drive onto my computer using the Serial ata connection. When i turned on windows it seems like it recognized the hard drive with the new hardware icon showing. It installed the driver automatically i dont have a cd as this drive was purchased oem. I go into control panel and it says that i have a maxtor drive installed in the DEVICE MANAGER section yet this drive does not show up when i go to MY COMPUTER. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
