Hardrive placement

Sep 17, 2004
  1. hey, have a simple question. My case has three 3.5 inch drives. 1 is only for floppies, one is only for hardrives, and the other is interchangable. I have a second hardrive i want to install. But im not sure if i should. If i do there is like a cm of space between my two hardrives. Will this cause to much heat?

You should be fine providing your PC isn't already running hot.

Modern HDs can take incredible amounts of heat. You won't be able to touch a drive after a couple of hours of heavy use - and it still works without problems.
