Hardware Issues With Windows 2000

I upgraded my computer from Windows 98 to Windows 2000, now my VGA hardware and Sound Card hardware look like there isn't a driver and it is using default settings, whick doesn't let me play audio out of software and my monitor can only show a 16 color display?

you will need to reinstall the driver either from the cd that came with the gear, or from the manufacturer website. make sure you use the win2k drivers, not win 98

How do I find out the the manufacutere and model of hardware in my computer?

Download Everest and run it. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/everest.html
Also its best to do a clean install of 2000 not an upgrade.
