Here's one for the Microsoft bashers.

I bought a Core 2 Duo (512 RAM, 160GB HDD) with Basic RHEL WS 4.0 preloaded.

And, the Vendor didn't provide the RHEL 4.0 CDs or a subscription number.

One month, and several emails later, I get this answer (a pure and simple copy & paste):

Dear Sir,

This is in reference to your query in Redhat Linux that is preinstalled in
our Ezeebee system.

All our Redhat Linux based systems are shipped from plant with pre-installed
license only.
Redhat offers the operating system Support and Patch update for end users
through retail subscription pack which customer needs to buy.
We can arrange media for you, but is it available on a chargeable basis.
