I have av Soundblaster LIVE! digital sound card for my pc.
but i wont ****ing work. when i download a driver for it it says that i dont have an SB Live Digital. And when i use the Creative auto updater on their website it says that i have an SB live Digital... weird ! i dont know what to do. Please somebody Help me ! what should i do?
my pc specs are
Asus K8V SE-Deluxe (i think) for motherboard.
Radeon 9600 xt gfx card
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
512 Corsairs XMS DDR-Ram

Have you tried uninstalling it and restarting the computer and let it reinstall?

Is it an OEM card? Whats the model #(in the upper right side of the card). Most of the SB Live Digital cards were for Dells only. When creative makes OEM cards they leave out certain hardware identifiers so that drivers from Creatives site wont recognize the card as a Creative. That way they wont have to provide support for cards they make for other venders like Dell and Gateway. I got this straight from Creative tech support when I bought an OEM card. If its OEM, you'll need a driver for the specific model, such as SB0020.

i have done it but the same error message appears when i try to install the driver .
setup could not detect any Soundblaster audio card on your system

The drivers on Creatives site wont work with any OEM card, only retail cards.
