I was attempting to install windows XP on my roomates computer last night. It formatted the drive fine and was at 26% on copying files. Suddenly I hear a loud pop and the sound of many small pieces whizzing around. Come to find out when I open up the CD-ROM, that it has somehow caused my CD to explode. I've never seen or heard of this before, nor do I have any idea how such a thing is possible as the CD was in good condition, without any cracks. Just curious to see how many others have experienced similar occurances.
