Hi,
I'm new here and would like to introduce myself, my name is kirsty and i am having computer problems, alas for this site.
my pc keeps giving me message errors with my windows sercurity alert and wont allow me to turn it on, i am also experiencing problems when windows vista has loaded, the start menu is already loaded and when i move my mouse to try and open IE (which is located up the top of the taskbar) it will open any program, when the program is open it will constantly flash, Please help.

Your log seems good. What have you tried so far?

Have you checked for spyware? (aside from HijackThis) I recommend:

o Malwarebyes Anti-Malware
o SuperAntispyware
o Spybot Search & Destroy

Run the above and repost with results.
