HDDs Compatible with this Motherboard?

  1. Probably an obvious question, but I'll ask it anyway.

My old motherboard is either a Gigabyte GA-7ZXE. The hard drive that came with the system (custom) died... was faulty. I don't want to get the same hard drive, so what hard drives would be compatible with this board? Or does it matter?

    Thanks.

your only real restriction will be it has to be a IDE hard drive. ( unless you want to spring for a SATA PCI card then yo could use a SATA drive.

Yep, it should work. Might not run at ATA 133 though.
