HDW Monitor Error Asus A7v8x-x

I have installed the board with an Athlon xp 1700. all is well but at the post I get that the monitor has found an erro0r in the Power part of the bios setup menus. If I ignore it and go on all is ok but I checked everything and can't find an error.
I downloaded a new BIOS from ASUS a7v8xx05.zip but it would not install. Says "different model of bios" What gives? Can't get a rtesponse from ASUS Tech.

Probably the wrong model of system board, if a different model BIOS. Are you sure the one inside your machine is an A7V8X-X? Check your documentation.

Yes it is (or was) an Asus A7V8X-X board. I sent it back for a replacement! iAftyer a cold boot, t was freezing on the POST after the Plug & Play section. A RESET or exit from the BIOS all was fine.

Hope the new one doesn't have this problem!
