Headset not working...

  1. I just bought a Logitech Premium Stereo headset (the 3.5 plug one, not the USB) and only just a few minutes ago tried them, plugged them in the soundcard in their corresponding slots, yet they don't work, not even after reinstalling updated drivers. I've been told that they might be faulty, but when I ran a test for them, mic and headphones both registered sounds, but I couldn't hear them...

    I got a Creative Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 soundcard, which is quite old, and a really old MB, Via KuDo something...

    Any ideas anyone?
