Hello all, I'm new to this board, but not new to computers!

Hello All,
Finally decided to get on line here. I've been playing with computers since my first Commodore VIC 20!
Been working for IBM as a mainframe, and midrange systems hardware repair man for 30 years.
I have built all of our home PCs, except for one.
In the last few years, I've been helping my friends by ridding their home computers of various virus's and trojans, etc.
But the time has come to get more serious, and ask for some serious help, utilizing this forum and Hijackthis.
