  1. Hi, first I have to apologise (already) for the username. I use google fill-in thing for e-mail and it must have overridden my username. Oh well. My reason for joining is selfish really, because I have a problem with BSoD's and cannot get to the bottom of it (nor can local PC shop)
    I have a Medion 5030 Intel Pentium 3.2
    512Mb RAM
    256Mb nVidia GeForce 5200
    The problem started with my beloved Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Now I have used this no problems for 16 months, yes it is "heavy" graphically with all the add-ons but I have run extensive tests and to no avail.
    * Hardrive checked - OK
    * RAM checked - OK
    * Motherboard - new
    * McAffee Online - reckons no virus
    * System Mechanic 5 - checked registry and defrag
    maybe there is a possibility of memory leak? Oh and i have numerous minidump files (yes read that page)

    Help appreciated

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

    If you`re sure that you`ve followed the instructions is this thread HERE.

    Open a new thread in the Windows OS forum and zip 5 or 6 of your latest minidumps together and attach them to your new thread.

    Note. Techspot has a limit of 100kB for attachments, so you may need to attach more than one zip file.

    Regards Howard :wave: :wave:
