Hellow really need some advice

See i just bought a nvidia 7600GT 256mb and you know i like to play games like cs bf2 and wow, currently i play cs more than the others cs 1.6 that is. Now my problem is that on my old card 9600 xt 128mb i ran cs @ 100Fps now with this card it wont go any higher that 60fps with all the setting for vsync off and the and antialiasing anisotropic off can any one tell me how to fix that i dont know about the other games what performance ill get because i just got this card yesterday .http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130283.
i have another question would be that i have to update my drivers? from the site after i installed from my cd? i doubt because wouldnt the cd since its a new card have the updated drivers plz Help (

I would try updating the graphics card driver. The driver on the CD is often out of date by the time you get it. You don't know how long it was sitting on the shelf and new drivers come out on a regular basis.

Did you uninstall the ATI drivers before installing the Nvidia card?
