HELP!!! 6 ohm????

  1. can someone tell me how many watts is 6 ohm cause i have a sub that have 6 ohm and i don't know how many watts is it..

    I dont really know how to go about answering this one....6 ohm speakers do not have a set wattage. it is simply the resistance that the speaker presents to the amp.

    The ohm rating will not tell you how many watts the sub can survive. If you can open up the sub case and look at the back of the speaker magnet you might see a power rating.

    Now if you are concerned about a mismatch of impedance between 6 and 8 ohms, at audio frequencies such as speakers operate at, you can safely ignore it.
