help after reinstall

Help Please!

Okay, I reinstalled my computer today (Because it was being slow I seemed to have fixed the problem! :grinthumb) and it asked me if I wanted to delete my old files, etc. So I said okay, but my files are still on my computer, I just can't access them or delete them. Ahh its taking up all the room on my computer! Any ideas? Should I maybe reinstall my computer?

P.S. I've tried getting to them through Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs, but they can't see them either.


Please try to give your posts a proper title in the future. It is easier to get an answer if it is called something other than "Please HELP"

A bit more info might be helpful. What OS?
Old files of what, a previous installation or old programs?
Anyway, booting up in safe mode might give you access to them.

Or if you just reinstalled the OS, you might want to try formatting your drive, then reinstalling the OS, this will ensure that all files are gone (and if you have anything important that isn't backed up it will get rid of that too).

Well nevermind! I fixed the problem. I just reinstalled my computer again :grinthumb
