By paulhewald

  1. Hello, I keep getting bad image error messages popping up everytime I click on a program. The message says:
The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\g1mk0g.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

I have found the g1mk0g.dll file but do not know what to do next.

Please help me with my problem and explain to me what to do because I dont have a lot of computer intelligence

    Thanks

    Hi paulhewald

Looks as though g1mk0g.dll is a new bug, without much info on it.

I would suggest that you follow:

    Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions

    Hi paulhewald

OK the bug has been (manually) deleted and now all is OK
That's great, although I am still concerned about anything else on your computer.
It may still be a good idea to follow the "preliminary removal instructions" posted above, to be sure. I'll leave that with you, as your option to do.

As for affecting your computer due to its removal, I can only think that it will be better for it. Only time will tell !
