  1. Yesterday I turned on the pc but when it got past the windows loading screen the pc rebooted and i can't find a way to repair this.

so i thought maybe I can copy the files to my other harddisk(with windows on it to) but when I tried to enter my folder on the other harddisk i got an error saying access denied.

How can i copy the files to my other harddisk??

both harddisks are FAT and have win xp professional installed on it

right click on drive letter go to properties
security setup permissions for all users
you can change later once you have backed up files
