  1. As I said in the title for the thread I am having problems working on a buddies computer and I went onto bootdisk.com and got the windows 98se boot disk and put it onto a floppy and put it in the computer......so far everyone with the disk has worked besides the fdisk, I type in fdisk in the A: prompt and its telling me Incorrect MS-DOS Version and neither will the format c: thats telling me bad command or file name.

This computer is an IBM Think Pad A20m

    12gb hard drive
    128mb RAM

did have windows xp on it but to small of a hard drive for that operating system especially with 128mb of ram and i am trying to put Windows 2000 on it so can anybody help me in this situation?..... it would be greatly appreciated!
