Help!! Hax On Laptopz

I'm not sure what's wrong with my laptop. I don't know anything about laptops. It has 3 lights. One blinky thing for Hard drive, one for power, and this other I don't know. It blinks green 3 times then goes orange. WTF is that? Why does my Dell latitude goes unresponsive. Then works, then doesnt for 20 mins then does for 20 seconds then doesnt for an hour.
