Help I Have An Intruder!!!!!!!!!!

Today i noticed that although i wasnt connected to the web there was activity on my network connection icon. i started looking into it and found a new user account was there. i went to admin tools and found this user had shut off services that would inform me of questionable events, and had set admin rights to his/her control.

i want to trace this @$$hole!
or somehow return the favor

is there any way this is possible?

as of now i have diabled my storage HDD's ( although he/she has had 3 weeks to access my system)

i havent made any real attempts to disable this vermin yet! i want them to grab plenty of rope till i can tie a noose.

please any suggetion would be helpful.

1) be sure to enable your firewall
2) boot into safe mode, login on the Administrator account,
give it and ALL accounts NEW PASSWORDS, disable the bogus account for login

If possible, look for an IDS (intrution detection software), install and let it
monitor your system. if should detect all changes post install
