Help I have system alert:Trojan-spy.win32@mx

  1. I have recently started getting the following alerts and warnings and need help getting rid of them. Can anyone help?

    1. System Alert: Trojan-spy.win32@mx
    2. Security Alert: networm-i.virus@fp
    3. Internet explorer Alert - infected with spyware or adware
    4. Spyware.cyberlog-x
    5. critical system warning
    6. system performance monitor warning

    I have run Spybot, adaware, and norton antivirus both inand out of safe mode but nothing changes.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

    I have moved your thread to the correct forum.

    Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

    If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

    Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

    Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as Attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

    Also, let me know the results of the Panda Antirootkit scan.

    thanks for the info.. I have decided to re-format my laptop. Will this clean it out completely and allow me to start form scratch?

    Yes, a reformat will get rid of your malware.
