HELP! ismon

I know im infested with ismon n toolbar 888 and probably some other spywares. Can u all tell me what I m infested with n how to get rid of them?? And wat is bfxtray.exe and flx23.exe flx24.exe?

any help wud be appreciated

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your system is infected with lots of nasties. I can`t say I`m that surprised, as you`re not running any antivirus or firewall software.

Go and get the free AVG antivirus programme and either the free Zonealarm, or the free Kerio firewall programmes. You can get them HERE, HERE and HERE.

Install whichever firewall you chose, followed by AVG and reboot your system the required number of times. Run the AVG updates, then follow these instructions exactly.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Run a full system scan with AVG and delete whatever it finds.

Reboot into normal mode and turn system restore back on.

Then, go HERE and follow the instructions exactly.

Post a fresh HJT log into this thread, only after doing the above.

Click start/run and type services.msc into the run box and press the enter key.

When the window appears, maximise it. Double click on the following services(if there) and select stop if they are running. Set the startup type to disabled. Click apply/ok for each service you disable.

Windows Log

Close the services window.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

Close HJT.

Locate and delete the following bold files and/or directories(if there).

C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bfxtray.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system\smss.exe
C:\DOCUME~1\Hui\LOCALS~1\Temp\42exinjs31.exe

Reboot into normal mode and turn system restore back on.

Post a fresh HJT log.

Can you tell me what the Besta programme is?

Your HJT log is now clean.

I see you have removed your antivirus and firewall programmes. You should reinstall them ASAP, before your system becomes reinfected.

I have merged your new thread into this one.

No antivirus+no firewall=malware and that`s exactly what you`ve got.

I did warn you to reinstall antivirus and firewall software in my post above.

Let`s see if we can get you cleaned up.

Go and read the Trojan Pakes and other nasties preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.
